He was very informative, transparent and addressed my concerns about the products and installation process. This company is by far among the best. We had a laundry room that was in need to cover an old floor, likely asbestos tiles, which were not damaged but we wanted to be proactive and avoid having to actually remove them professionally if they became damaged. We did extensive research on best options for this situation. We then contacted several known, large and smaller companies for estimates. The proposed solutions were varied, generally unsatisfactory, some even thought to just leave the tiles as is. We contacted Custom Floor and never looked back. Ryan Lee was extremely knowledgeable, patiently explaining options, helped me pick the best floor for the area to be covered, and answered endless questions which calmed my concerns. The installer, Mr. Lee (not Ryan) arrived at the agreed time, worked non stop in a “tricky” area due to a fixed furnace, water heater; a dryer, washer, and refrigerator: and a sink. The end result was excellent, by far exceeding my expectations. In brief, the whole process was thoroughly professional, they delivered as promised and at a great price. It’s now a pleasure to go to that laundry room! I will definitely go to Custom Floor for our future flooring needs.

Custom Floor did a fantastic job installing luxury vinyl plank floors in our condo. Ryan and his team were easily the most friendly professional company we have ever worked with. I have had Mr. Peter and his crew install carpeting in my bedrooms, tile floor and backsplash in kitchen, hardwoods on my stairs, entrance foyer, family room and bathroom, and carpeting and Armstrong vinyl wood flooring in my basement hallway and two bathrooms.

Ryan and his crew did a great job! He came prepared with samples of the flooring that I expressed interest in on the phone and made a suggestion that was better than what I had chosen. He knows his stuff. He even loaned me the samples to think about for a couple of days. They did a great job and the price was the best of the three estimates I got.

We needed to update our carpet as to prepare our house for sale. We worked with Benny and he was great! The job was completed in a timely manner at a fair price. The crew showed up on-time, completed the work ahead of schedule and did an excellent job cleaning everything up. We were very pleased with everything and have already recommended them to a friend.

Home Depot took FOREVER and did not release the measurements I paid for bc it was “Home Depot property” even though customers pay for the measurements. Was on a time crunch and had to get a quick carpet installation. For similar pricing (actually, a little more), I was definitely much more willing to pay for the quicker turnaround and the higher quality grade of carpets they have. The staff was able to provide expert advice on carpet quality, which is so much appreciated, and was able to work with my quick deadlines – expect at least a two week time frame. Home Depot staff are not as knowledgeable or instructional when it comes to carpets. Definitely go with people who have been in the business for more than 20+years. Worked with the owner and David at this place. David was on top/on point with everything.

I just worked with Peter at Custom Floor for the second time, and I’m so glad I went back! He’s been super-helpful in providing honest advice in helping me select my floors. He also has the best selection in floors that I’ve seen. Peter was also in touch at every stage of the project, so I felt very confident about the whole process.

Custom Floor is highly recommended! They have a great selection. Peter at the store helped me pick out my floors. He knew my taste and knew exactly what I wanted. He is very knowledgeable about current trends and the type of floors. He even did a walk-through after the work was completed and sent contractors out again to work on minor things I pointed out.

Had the pleasure of working with Peter and it was a easy process from start to finish. He was knowledgeable and gave me all my options during my in-home quote appointment and we had options picked out by that afternoon. The process of finding someone for the job was difficult for me since I’m a graduate student juggling school, work, and marriage but custom floors worked with me and my schedule. Also it doesn’t hurt that their quote was 3 grand less than the other 2 quotes I got and my floors are beautiful.

Peter made the entire carpet buying experience a breeze. On our initial visit to their showroom he pointed us to exactly what we were looking for and was able to come out to our home shortly after to take the measurements. On install day the installers arrived promptly, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Custom Floor again in the future.

Jeff Shin is excellent. I went to showroom with a quote from other vendors.He checked it and followed me to my house to get measurements right away. He gave me a better estimate that what i have. Jeff fixed a date for installation and duration of 2 days.He kept me well informed about the arrival of the hardwood floors from warehouse. On the day of installation,5 professional guys came to my house and finished all 1300 sq ft hard wood flooring on same day. Very happy with all how it all went.Thanks guys

We met with seven different carpet contractors and these guys were by FAR the best. These guys installed carpet in our townhouse. Benny did a GREAT job taking care of us.

This is what we got:
1) They were professional and communicated with us through the process
2) Benny showed up on time for the appointment to provided a quote. He gave us a fair quote and explained how he calculated it immediately. (Carpet requires ~30% more material than the square footage you need to cover)
3) Benny got us scheduled immediately.
4) The day of the job, Benny and his guys showed up on time and worked till the job was done (~10 hours).
5) their work is stellar. The screwed down many loose subfloors, and would fit doors if needed. There is no evidence of seams. A+++
6) They cleaned up after themselves

We can’t recommend them enough. Go with them!

We had Custom Floor install hardwood floors throughout two floors of our home and were very pleased with the result. The crew completed the whole job in a single day, which included a full staircase. Their attention to detail was impressive.

We made several trips to the showroom in Chantilly and felt like we had our questions answered and were treated well. We felt like we ended up getting a good price on the floors and the install. It was a pleasure to work with Peter in particular. He came by and did the measurements and gave us the quote.

The floors have been in now for almost a year and we are still pleased. They’ve held up with the change of the seasons. We would definitely recommend Custom Floor to anyone in the market.

Custom floor installed hardwood floor for my basement, stairs and bedrooms last September. They did an excellent work from the beginning to the end. When Peter came to the house for measurement, he showed me the measurement of every room and was 100% transparent during the whole procedure. I stopped by the shop to select color and materials on that weekend, and Peter gave me the estimate on total cost. I went back to sign the contract two days later, but at the moment I received his quote, I know this is the one I would hire and I couldn’t get any better deals.
The rest of the process went very smoothly. They came in to drop off the material on Saturday morning and started the installation 2 days later. Everyday they cleaned trash, locked windows and doors. I’m very satisfied with their service.
If you need someone to install your floor, Custom floor is definitely the shop you can trust.

As far as we are concerned there is no other place I will go for floors or carpeting.

We purchased hardwood from Peter at Custom Floor after shopping around at Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, and a few lumber places.

When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable person (Peter). He noted what we were looking for and showed us several options, taking the time to explain the differences between each one. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the pricing was incredibly comparable to the pricing found at the other places.

Once we selected the wood (after multiple visits) we wanted, Peter worked with us and our schedules.

When we told Peter we had a tight deadline for installation, he was quick to jump on the phone and check inventory. He was also very aware that this was a big purchase for us and wanted to ensure we made the right choice. He gave us a few sample pieces and told us how to place so we get a better idea of how it will look once installed.

Everything went perfectly well on installation days. The installers came early and waited till the scheduled time and knocked exactly at the appointment time and were super friendly and did a fantastic job, just as they assured us they would.

Removing the old carpet is a messy job but they cleaned up after themselves and worked quickly.

If I EVER need a new floor Custom Floor is the only place I will be calling.

The Custom Floor team worked with me on my entire kitchen repair after severe water damage destroyed the floors and cabinets. Multiple teams were brought in for cabinetry, granite, and flooring. The entire process went seamlessly and the outcome was fantastic. They had no issues being flexible with my schedule either. I am certainly going to reach out to them again for any future flooring needs and strongly suggest anyone else do the same.

Ryan and the team were excellent. I can’t say enough good things. Ryan gave an honest opinion on my project, where I could save, and was able to answer all of my questions on Luxury Vinyl and variations. Once I was ready to move forward, they were able to work quickly and finished the job in 3 days for my entire house. I didn’t have to move anything around and the installers were courteous and professional. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision to work with them and when I move into a larger space, I will certainly call them for my next project!

As repeat customers in Burke, we hired Custom Floor to replace the master bathroom floor, install flooring in the hall guest bath and replace carpeting in three bedrooms, including closets. After the initial installation we had a few issues. Peter was committed to ensuring our concerns were addressed and that we were satisfied with the projects. In the master bath, the first crew did not properly remove the grout and debris from the pre-existing stone tiles before installing the new luxury vinyl tiles. A second team had to come out to resolve the issue and reinstall the new luxury vinyl tile. Following the carpet installation we discovered an issue with the tack strips at the room transitions (from carpet to hardwood) and with a couple of areas where the carpet was not stretched sufficiently. The tacks were protruding through the carpet and presented a safety hazard. Peter recommended a couple of solutions and arranged to come out to install transition molding and to remove the tack strips (at the room transitions). The carpet installers also returned to properly stretch the carpet where required. With the issues resolved we are happy with the end results.

Excellent customer service! Benny was exceptional in surveying our space, listening to our wants and recommending the perfect product that fit our needs. The showroom was very well appointed with products. We choose a more traditional looking premium laminate floating floor for the waterproof attributes and durability with kids and pets. Cesar and crew worked incredibly hard to install our floor (~700sqft) in a single day. There were a few touch up things we asked the team to address after and the folks were quick, responsive, and did a wonderful job following up. The floor looks and feels great and we could not be happier. We found our flooring company. Won’t be going to anyone else.
